Why you should never tell someone to relax

Here is an interesting article on how to interact with someone who is stressed out. Do not tell them to just relax or its no big deal. These type of statements just stress people out more. Try to use open ended questions so people can decide what they want to share. You’re also letting them know you are willing to listen. Examples of open ended statements are : how are you?, would you like to talk?.
